What Do Metallic Freshwater Pearls Look Like?

Metallic Freshwaters
What I liked immediately about this year’s Pantone Color of the Year was that it came very close to matching the natural-color Metallic Lavender Freshwater pearls we purchased earlier last year and are featuring as our January Monthly Special.

The metallic sheen can be a striking pink, a bright, electric blue, shining green and even gold- this lot was very special and I knew we had to do something incredible with it!

White Metallic Freshwater Pearls- can you see the pink, blue, green and violet iridescence?
While I love all the colors (it’s hard to have a favorite in this business!) the metallic Lavender keeps drawing my eye… Once Pantone came out with their 2014 Color of the Year, Radiant Orchid, I couldn’t resist naming the metallic Lavender pearls ‘Wild Orchid’- we’re walking on the wild side of Radiant! ;)

The Peach and White Metallic Freshwater pearls are also absolutely gorgeous! Check out these amazing pearls- the luster continually blows me away! I love the way they reflect nearly every color of the rainbow- red, pink, orange, yellow/gold, blue, green and even violet. These pearls are simply stunning.
Oh, and before I forget, a customer just asked me about our Sterling Silver, and yes, it is does have a non-tarnish coating, so you don’t have to worry about cleaning it all the time, which is always a relief. ;)  I couldn’t resist- here’s one more shot of these amazing pearls.
