The rarest of all Akoya pearls, the Hanadama Akoya pearls must meet the rigorous grading standards of the Pearl Science Laboratory of Japan. These pearls are flawless, perfectly round, have highest luster, and have the thickest nacre of all Akoya pearls. Our Akoya Hanadama pearls have an average nacre thickness total of 1.2mm with a maximum variance of .10mm on each side for smaller sizes. Each strand comes with an original numbered certificate provided by the Pearl Science Laboratory of Japan.
