Pure Pearls proudly offers our exclusive matched 2-piece pearl pendant and earring sets, as well as the more traditional 3-piece necklace, bracelet and earring sets for you to choose from.
The most popular pearl size for necklaces is the versatile 18-inch, princess length necklace measuring 7.0-8.0mm, perfect for both day and evening wear.
Pearl pendants are most often favored in larger sizes like 9.0-10.0mm and 10.0-11.0mm, as these large pearl sizes can stand on their own beautifully, are proportional to the average female frame, and are appropriate for everything from office attire to jeans to your favorite little black dress.
Pure Pearl Quality
Pure Pearls relies on the A-AAA grading scale most commonly used by US pearl dealers and jewelers, with ‘A’ denoting commercial quality pearls, and ‘AAA’ representing the very best pearls of each yearly harvest. We only offer AA+ and AAA quality pearls for our matched pearl sets.
AAA quality pearl jewelry sets feature excellent matching, smooth surfaces, luster that is sharp, crisp and highly reflective, as well as the least amount of blemishing- approximately 5% or less of the total surface area of the pearls. Both Akoya and Freshwater pearl jewelry sets will consist of perfectly round to near-perfect round pearls.
AA+ quality pearl sets feature near-perfect matching, smooth surfaces and very sharp luster that is highly reflective and shows only slight satining around reflected light sources. Blemish rates can be up to 10% total surface area of the pearls, however we make it a priority to use only the cleanest pearls. Akoya pearls will be perfectly round, while Freshwater pearls may be slightly off-round to button-shape. For more information on pearl grading, visit our Pearl Education section.
