The sizes of the pearls are pretty impressive, too- starting at about 10.0mm, many of the strands graduate up to 12.8 and 13.0mm large; these are definitely pearls that will capture attention no matter where you are. I love South Sea pearls not just for their sizes- which are always showstoppers- or their colors, which are 110% natural and highly iridescent, but also for their world-famous luster that just begs to be touched by both hands and eyes. There’s a natural, subtle glow that emanates from these pearls that I just can’t get over, and having them here, in stock, means I am one lucky pearl dealer!

I haven’t done the Strand of the Month feature in a little while- the Holidays were just crazy, and those fabulous recent celebrity sightings stole my attention. However, I came across a strand of AMAZING White South Sea pearls that defy words, and I had to share them with you. The full 18-Inch necklace measures 9.0-12.5mm, and the pearls are AAA Quality; their Overtone can only be described as Ivory/Silver/Violet with strong Orient and Luster that looks like liquid nacre. There is minimal blemishing, and although the pearls aren’t completely flawless, I have to say this is truly the prettiest strand of South Sea pearls I have seen in about two years- this necklace literally radiates light!
