Hi Everybody! For this month’s edition of Prominent Pearl Sightings, I stumbled across this absolutely stunning photo of Jessica Alba wearing what appears to be a Triple-Strand or a long rope of large White South Seas Pearls and matching pearl stud earrings. Her trendy tweed jacket and crisp white shirt ensemble combined with her large, luminous pearl ropes and studs capture a timeless Fall Style, and she pulls it off perfectly! Hmmm… I’m thinking of a large Elite Collection Freshwater version, or big, yummy Drop-Shaped Baroques!  Psst, Jessica… we love your pearls!!     

Hi Everybody! I have a fantastic Prominent Pearl Sighting for July, and it goes to Angelina Jolie! She was spotted wearing these gorgeous White South Sea Baroque Pearl Dangle Earrings for the Venice, Italy red carpet premiere of Ocean’s 13 with Brad Pitt, and as we just finished creating a similar pair I thought this would make a great post. The drop-shaped baroque pearls have an elegant simplicity that I have always admired: rare, lustrous and perfectly matched, these earrings are the essence of classic luxury. I have noticed a recent commercial popping up featuring two political personalities: none other than Nancy Pelosi and Newt Gingrich sitting next to each other on a couch! The two politicians put their differences aside to talk about something that matters to us all: Global Warming and the effects of Climate Change on the planet, as part of the “We Can Solve It” campaign sponsored by former Vice President and the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize Winner, Al Gore. While the two hard-hitting politicos don’t see eye to eye on every issue to confront the American government, it is fantastic to see them agree on all of us actively taking responsibility to reduce our environmental impact on the planet we call home!
  
Pelosi, wearing her Signature strand of mixed Golden, White and Black South Sea pearls looks elegant and refined as always! I couldn’t resist tracking down a color image of the commercial to feature here on our blog. As a business woman in the spotlight, Pelosi instinctively understands that pearls are the accessory- understated, a classic and no-nonsense statement, while very much accentuating her beauty and character!

Hi Everybody!   

During this edition of Prominent Pearl Sightings and I am pleased to feature one of my favorite actresses: Anne Hathaway.  From the moment that she made her famous debut in The Princess Diaries to winning our hearts in The Devil Wears Prada, Anne’s engaging smile and classic, elegant style are sure to send her straight to the top!  I actually found two images this week of Ms. Hathaway wearing pearls that I just had to put up for you all!   

The luminous White South Sea and Diamond dangle earrings she’s pictured wearing (top) are the epitome of timeless style and grace… dare I say “Fit for a Princess”??  I was also very pleased to find this publicity shot of her (bottom) in Freshwater dangle earrings proving that while pearls are always classic it’s easy to give them a contemporary twist for a fun, confident look!  With taste and style like Anne’s, it’s easy to see why she can hold her own against the greats like Julie Andrews and Meryl Streep on the Silver Screen; I wager we’ll be seeing a lot more of Anne in the future!
