2011 was a great year for us at Pure- we continue to build and improve on our site and our pearls at a steady and strong pace, and all of us are looking forward to the coming year with anticipation and excitement. We thought we’d set down a few of our 2012 Resolutions for you all to go over- let us know what you think!

1) Continue to maintain our high standards for pearl quality and customer care.

2) Continue to expand our pearl jewelry lines- from diamond accents to colorful gemstones and intricate gold work, you can be sure we’ll continue to focus on bringing you all the best- a gorgeous mix of classic style and exciting new designs to choose from.

3) Continue to focus on our social media platforms- we’d really like our Facebook page to be as fun and interactive as possible- filled with contests, deals and most of all, you!

Last but definitely not least, we’d like to extend a very special Thank You to each and every one of you! We’ve been honored to work with you- each pearl necklace and every pair of pearl earrings we sent out has a story and a lifetime to build upon; we hope our lovely pearls are treasured in their new homes, and that they provide many years of memories and enjoyment with you and your loved ones. 2011 was an excellent year- we’re positive that 2012 will bring new opportunities, new designs and many new relationships that are going to be simply amazing.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving- it has been a rough year for all of us, but there is still much, much to be Thankful for. However the thing that I have been most thankful for is continuing to work with all of you; Purepearls.com would not be able to continue creating gorgeous jewelry, custom designs and classic heirlooms that will be treasured and remembered for generations to come without the support, confidence and loyalty of each and everyone of you. We have a Winner!!! Our Tahitian Baroque Pearl Necklace (pictured below) as featured in Women’s World Magazine has finally found a home; Jerry A. Peters come on down and collect your pearls! The pearl necklace is 18-inches in length and measures 8.01-12.12mm; the pearls are Off-Round in Shape, moderately Circled. The very dark- nearly true black- pearls are liberally colored with scrumptious Peacock Green, Aubergine and Bronze Overtones with minimal blemishing and very good Luster. I have an absolutely gorgeous necklace of Champagne-colored White South Seas pearls that I’d like to feature for July; graduating from 12.0-13.0mm, these large pearls’ display some truly intense Orient and Luster, which brings into play that iridescence which is so hard to pin down in trying to describe it verbally… The word Electric comes to mind for these pearls- I see pinks, violets and creams that literally seem to crackle and snap with vitality. The clarity, color and luster of these pearls all combine to make this strand a solid AAA Quality. Summer is nearly here, and with it- Wedding Season! I know, I know- brides get married all the time, but with the endless blue summer skies, greenery, flowers and sunshine, the summer months always seem so… perfect for tying the knot. The latest custom design piece pictured below was dreamt up by one of our lovely brides to be (in June- congratulations, Mary!), and it turned out so lovely that I’d thought I’d share with you. The double-strand pearl bracelet consists of our gorgeous Elite Collection Freshwater pearls, 7.0-8.0mm, White with a Subtle Ivory Overtone and very crisp, sharp luster; she chose to finish the bracelet using our Diamond Double Figure Eight clasp in 18K Gold, which I think lends a very Old-World, Victorian-era feel to the whole piece. Today I wanted to show off just one of our new Tahitian Baroque Necklaces that we added just this week. Although all of them are beautiful, this one in particular sets my little heart a pitty-pat; the more I look at them, the more they glow and sparkle (yes, sparkle!) in the light.
