Boo!! It’s Halloween! One of my absolute favorite Holidays where we can all indulge a bit in our Wild Side for one fun, spooky and thrilling night. Costume balls, masquerades and trick or treating galore! This year, my daughter wants to go as Alice in Wonderland (“the Gothic kind, Mom!”) and so I’ve been doing a little bit of research about creative ideas online here and there when today I stumbled across this ethereal and striking still of Anne Hathaway as the White Queen in the new Burton-directed Alice in Wonderland, also starring Johnny Depp.

Now, I am always looking for ways to feature pearl treasures and fashion, and the costume designer has pulled off the pearl trim beautifully! The dress begins to recall some of the Victorian-era pearl excesses without being overly-indulgent, but still very beautiful and detailed. I hope you all enjoy Halloween’s Prominent Pearl Sighting!
